A Fun Weekend Project

In case you wake up one perfectly beautiful early October morning and decide (over a very leisurely breakfast) to clean out your garage, here is what you have to look forward to.

Thank God Drew dropped in for the weekend. We would not have been able to do this project in such a short time if he weren't here, twiddling his thumbs for the weekend. Drew is Walter's new roommate in Texas and he came out on Friday evening to pick up a car that he was going to drive back to Texas on Saturday. Well, that didn't work out so well, so we put him to work until he could pick up his car on Monday morning. Woo-hoo, our lucky day.

I have to say, the epoxy was my idea. Geo had been talking about it for ages, but you're only going to have a clean garage once in a lifetime, so we took the opportunity to put on the epoxy. Not a bad deal, really. Smelly stuff, but oh so pretty when it's finished. Now I am sure it is not environmentally friendly, but we're going to have a spiffy looking garage for a long time now!
